SILK FAN VEILS

I have been obsessed with her work for a long time now, and finally decided to treat myself. I got both blue and orange; they are true to the pictures and beyond gorgeous! The silk she uses is thicker than other silk fan pairs I own, and offers a more graceful, heavier flow. While I got the smaller pairs, the size of the fans is larger than most standard silk fans and I LOVE it. It helps add more impact to her designs! She pays attention to detail and you can tell this is a labor of love- the staves are secured with an adjustable screw to control the tightness, something I wish more creators did! I truly love my fans and will love to perform with them soon. A detail I did notice; the staves on the fan- I am not sure what kind of wood they are, but they are more flexible than the bamboo staves I'm used to. Still playing around!

I bought these this past late spring and used them in the early summer. To say the pictures do not do them justice is an understatement: they are spectacular! I saved them for a special clients double birthday celebration and they and their guests were blown away. I am insanely happy, these wings are clearly hand painted and exquisitely crafted- invest in them, they are the best quality! I look forward in ordering another pair soon :)

These wings invite magic... I had my first kiss with a new love after he tried on the wings and then wrapped me in them :') And yesterday I had my first flying lesson from a five year old girl. She said if I keep practicing I might be able to fly within a few months. Going to debut them at a beautiful outdoor poetry festival this weekend, will send pics ! <3 Thank you Dorota !
